Day 81

Teddy studies his pigmented bacteria...

Teddy visited the The Department of Biological Sciences at Kuwait University today. He was invited by a sweet Environmental Microbiologist (I think) called Dina AlRoumi, who is trying to promote our young kuwaitis to be scientists. I, for one, was inspired!

She wrote my name using bacteria! The words Teddy B. are pigmented bacteria isolated from the air. (SO COOL!) Her thesis was on oil pollution (which we have a lot of here in Kuwait) and she even isolated and named her own bacteria whilst she was still a student in McGill.

Her class has a Facebook group, please show them your support as we need more minds like these.

Here in Kuwait we have so many talented people, all what they need is to be supported since they are our Kuwaiti's future scientist and inventors. Teddy you did a great job presenting our talented environmental microbiologist Dina AlRoumi.
